Are you following the clues presented to you?

Known for his music, philanthropy and theology, Albert Schweitzer said, “Success is not the key to happiness. Happiness is the key to success. If you love what you are doing, you will be successful.”When I wake up in the morning, I know I have a purpose and a calling to do great and inspiring things in my life. I know with each dawn, there is a new day and new opportunity for me to discover. I am mentally and emotionally aware that the Universe is going to speak to me today and I consciously look for the clues. It may be a subtle message, a sign, an encounter or perhaps a chance event that I may not have seen the prior day. I do this each day with a sense of happiness and willingness to receive what life is going to bring me and/or show me. Like Schweitzer, I believe that living in joy is what will lead me to my own success; as it will you.
Truth be told, we are not always walking around with a heightened consciousness. If we were, we would be keenly adept at filtering opportunities in every corner and turn we take. The key is tuning into your intuition so that it is always working with you. I know that I am continually receiving clues that when I pay attention, lead me to another clue or a finding that helps my decision making process and my life in general. When you start following the clues of your life and become more in tune with your heart and soul, prospects appear right where you least expect them. Suddenly, you are awake to possibilities that you may have forgotten or overlooked. Intuition has a subtle way of speaking to you. Are you listening? I know, seeing is believing but, you must first open your eyes to realize the many blessings that are right in front of you or you will be unable to see even the biggest clues placed right in front of you.
When you have gratitude for the things you do have in your life, you gain a deeper appreciation for the things you do not have or those joys you have lost along the way because you were not vigilant. Being grateful for the life you have, your friends and family, co-workers, your pets, your home, even nature that surrounds you allows you to awaken your intuition to not only see what you believe you want to see, but to naturally manifest what you want. It really is not all that difficult when you approach life with happiness, gratefulness and an open heart.
Some may say, “But I am just unhappy with my life. Nothing is going right. Nothing good ever happens to me.” If you are one of these naysayers, then I challenge you to transform these negative statements into something more positive. Instead, begin each day with this: “Today is a brand new day. I am thankful for my life, for the love that surrounds me, and for the blessings I will be shown. I have an open heart to receive, open eyes to see, open ears to hear, an open mind to channel and an open soul to feel all the positive energies that surround me now and the rest of today.” It is okay to give yourself little reminders if you need reinforcement.
No matter what, I do not want you to go back to doom and gloom thoughts. I can almost guarantee you that by repeating this little mantra day in and day out, you will start recognizing the clues presented to you. Don’t give your power away, instead empower yourself to live in joy, to experience happiness and torediscover blessings that will lead you to greater and more prosperous opportunities.
Doing Nothing is a Choice

If you are prepared for a hiccup, you can be prepared for anything. A hiccup, you ask? Oh yes. Hiccups are life’s little challenges that we stumble onto from time to time but we move beyond them with ease and peace because we had the foresight to plan ahead. The most crucial part of that preparation is the mental and emotional awareness to contend with whatever life throws our way.
In actuality, life can be cruel, unfair, disorganized, unpleasant and full of chaos. If you appreciate the blessings in your life, you have known hardship. Without hardships, one cannot enjoy the fruits of happiness, health and prosperity. Thus, it is why we are both humane and human. We make choices each and every moment of our lives. The choices we make determine the happiness and the sorrows that we will have in life. Doing nothing is also a choice.
Where are you in your life at the present moment? What choices have you made or are you making? How have these choices affected you, your relationships, your well-being? You realize how important it is to vote – so, for example, if you do not vote, you are making a choice against your own interests. Doing nothing is an active choice you are making to not participate in events that may and/or will affect your future — and even your children’s future. The same holds true for other life choices. If you are dealing with emotional, mental, physical or spiritual problems in your life and are choosing to do nothing about them, then you have consciously made the decision to live with the consequences of those effects.
I do not know about you, but I choose to be happy and healthy. I choose freedom from emotional and mental chains. I choose to feel blessed. I choose an attitude of gratitude. I choose to be proactive in maintaining harmony in my life. I cannot guarantee what tomorrow will bring my way, but I can choose how I am going to react. I can choose how to resolve the situation. I know that if I choose to do nothing, then I am condoning the issue at hand. I am then actively enabling a situation to become worse, or more. What choices can you make today to lead a joy-filled life? Doing nothing should never be your choice.
Get prepared!

Do you remember when you were a child and it was time to get ready to go back to school? It was a time of excitement, anxious anticipation mixed with a little fear and joy wondering what to expect and wondering if this was going to be a year in which you would excel.
I always looked forward to the preparations that went along with the process. For me, going back to school meant a time of brand new beginnings where I would see all my friends again and that was exciting. I loved going with Mom for the day to shop for my new school clothes and all of my school supplies. Then I would go to my room and sort everything out imaging how I was going to succeed in the coming days. It felt so wonderful seeing all my new things and arranging and re-arranging them several times as I placed my books, binders and all the new supplies ever so neatly in my new book bag. Everything was fresh, clean and unused. My imagination would run wild with all of the wonderful new possibilities about to take place. Of course, there was a twinge of nervous energy but that would always dissipate when I would remind myself of all the familiar people I was going to reconnect with and see.
So every year when this season comes around again, I begin to reflect on what September and the fall mean to me. The fall is about new beginnings, new thoughts and taking your growth to a deeper level as you welcome the change with a kind of giddy exuberance. In the next couple of weeks as we enter into the harvest time of 2014, I encourage you to take the steps needed as your prepare to create the momentum in your daily activities. This is a time of gathering. Gather your thoughts, pull in and focus your intention on what it is you want to materialize and strengthen your resources to utilize your talents for your highest and best good. Just as the tiny acorns that have fallen off the tree has found a rich and fertile soil to grow into the mighty oak tree, allow this symbolism to help you visualize the rich and fertile soil of your dreams that when nurtured and watered will produce a mighty new beginning for you. I have several ways that you can prepare for the new season in your life:
Examine if you are in balance – that is – are your thoughts, actions and beliefs in alignment with your goals?
Write out your desired outcome. Put your goals on paper and review them often. Are you writing them in the present tense or for some future time? If you want them to unfold for you now, you better write them in the present tense.
Daily write out the action steps that you want to manifest. You cannot reap the harvest if you do not sow the seeds.
Do an inventory check daily to make sure you are following the correct path.
Ask yourself some very powerful questions to help reinforce your intention: Do you believe and feel that what you now wish to bring into your life does actually belong to you?
Visualize the outcome – see your success. What does it look like?
Be in gratitude – Give thanks often during the day for your desired outcome, trust that the Universe has heard your request and is working with you to create it.
Place your attention on these steps. Allow you imagination to take you places where you never thought before was possible. This new season can be an accelerating opportunity for you to reach new heights as you transform your life in ways that far exceed your wildest expectations. Partner with me – “Think extraordinary and create an empowered way to live, work and play.”
Living in consciousness
Posted by Intuition Girl
Many people get insulted when asked the question or even imply whether they are living in consciousness or are simply existing, yet it is a very honest question and one that deserves you to take notice.
Let me use as an example discovering new and loving relationships between two people. Along your life’s journey, I am sure you have met many significant individuals and possibly you’ve fallen in love and opened yourself up to become vulnerable to another. How magnificent it is to open yourselves up in such a way as to allow someone else view your most sensitive feelings or do you find this challenging?
While you have consciously made the decision to form a new union and cultivate a new beginning, a new chapter in your life, have you truthfully taken the steps to make sure this new encounter will bear multiple blessings both now and in the future for you and your partner?
Many of us carry the baggage of our youth, which are our sorrows, our fears, our anxieties and our painful experiences deep within the recesses of our subconscious mind. All of these things have built up over time and we have brought them into our relationships, that is relationships at work, relationships with friends, relationships with family, and our relationships in love. Now instead of just one laundry list of “stuff”, we have two. If you have already raised your level of awareness to where you are at one with your soul and at one with your adult you, then you are already a step ahead of the game. But is your partner, your significant other vibrating at the same frequency? Even the transitional stage of going from a couple to a family unit or going from one any one stage of your life to another requires conscious living on your part if you want to enjoy the experience to the fullest.
Our ancestral lineage and family encounters absolutely plays a role in our present moments and those encounters can either boast us up or take us down. On both sides of my family, my grandparents died when I was young and I have few fond memories. While my Mom shares aspects of our lives that I personally don’t remember, I see how different attitudes and environments definitely played a part in the beliefs and attitudes that I developed in my life. We absolutely have the power and ability to change and create new habits and a new style of living yet unless we are consciously aware of the baggage that we have loaded ourselves up with, we are unable to remove it and get rid of it from our energy field.
When we choose to live consciously and become aware of the how, where and why of our actions, our thoughts and our reason for being, we are better prepared to tackle all the challenges that life presents to us. Never before have I offered a workshop that will tackle these questions and allow you to find answers that will give you a new sense of purpose and a new reason for living your life to the fullest. I will be offering this workshop weekend first to you, my friends that to everyone else in our outer circle. We will take a limited number of people because I want to be able to interact with all of you. Reservations will start within the next ten (10) days, so get ready to listen, read and respond. The rewards will be yours!

A season of warmth and Miracles

Everywhere you look, Mother Earth is warming the soil as we experience the freedom of the season. Summertime allows each one of us to relax a little more as we breathe in the sweetness of our balmy weather; the richness of the soil, the tender blossoms, and the bright green leaves that exhibit a beautiful display for the entire world to see. Have you taken the time to really look at nature lately and appreciate this season? Renowned poet, Albert Laighton once said, “Where man sees but withered leaves, God sees sweet flowers growing.” There is much truth in this statement; as all too often we walk along life’s highway dwelling on the low points and not enough of the highpoints. You see, summer is God’s way of awakening our eyes to the miraculous wonder of life.
Laighton was a man of great observation, he was able to see beyond the withered leaves and know that they have great potential while most of us only see the dead vegetation and look no further. We fill our lives with withering thoughts and fail to cultivate our ideas and nurture our heart’s desires. That’s how many of us tend to view our lives these days. For some of us, it takes too much time and effort to focus on what could be. We reject good and wholesome advice and choose to say—I know better than the wise men of the world.
We spend many an hour worrying about what was lost, or the cost of mistakes; and by the time we’ve spent all these precious moments on past issues, we have regrettably lost the opportunity that was there all along.
Are you forsaking your prosperity because you can’t see the flowers from the dead leaves? Let go of the old and withered patterns of your life. Each season has its beauty and affords us the opportunity to enjoy and partake in its abundance. However while we are in the season of summer, make it a time for miracles. Open up your heart and mind and allow the beautiful fruits of this season to enter your life. Don’t let a hardened heart prevent you from embracing new possibilities, and a chance for a positive life transformation. Even the flowers get a second chance every year to be the brightest and most colorful of the garden bouquet. God doesn’t view your “withered” ways; he wants you to be the best that you can be as well. That is my message to you – laugh, have fun, do something that brings a smile to your face.
We are all God’s children, and like the flowers of summer, he wants you to grow, flourish and feel the soft breeze across your face of his touch. Perhaps this is why we have four seasons in the year; each one offers us the opportunity to seek out the miracles that await us all.
