Waking up to 2012
Posted by Intuition Girl
It appears all over the internet—fear, worry and concern about the coming of 2012. We are all hearing the doomsday messages across the board. We hear about Mayan prophecies, we hear about Nostradamus, we hear about climate change, we hear about solar flares…and we have not even gotten started on all the earth changes that have been happening around us! It is true that 2012 will be here soon and so much hype has already be spun around this year…but how we perceive it in advance and what we do as we encounter the possible change, can and will create the difference between peace and happiness, and fear and distress. We are all hearing the doomsday messages across the board. I encourage you first—do not panic. Take a breath. Calm your nerves. Now, breathe again and get grounded.
For just a few minutes, I want you to reflect on the here and now. The year is 2010. We are at a pivotal time in history where we have the choice to decide our destiny. We can follow the lead of what terrible fate some are predicting or we can choose to live in the moment of now. Who in your life has meaning to you? What in your life has meaning to you? You see, you are all that you are. Your intuitive nature wants you to attach yourself to positive energy and go with the gentle flow of the universe. The more you let go and let God, the more you find that you can live in the present moment of inner peace, enlightenment, and the free spirit that resides within you. It is not necessary to live in state of constant paralysis because no matter what happens, you will find the strength and inner wisdom to overcome all things great and small.
We still have two years to get our acts together. Now is not the time to be running around like Chicken Little screaming “the sky is falling!” We have too much to live for in the moment of now. Make your awakening in the here and now so that you can choose your destiny…program your life to become one of greatness and happiness. You can have the inner peace that you desire if you so resolve to pursue that path…but if you choose the latter – to live in a state of alarm and anxiety, it will lead you down a negative, winding path that will only bring you grief and misery.
Wake up to 2012 so that you will be prepared for the greatness that you are destined to achieve in your life. Wake up to 2012 and leave the fear and stress of what may or may not lie ahead of you. Your very life depends on it. If you live in anxiousness your physical health can and will deteriorate. When you live with inner peace… with the knowingness that all will be well, you will prevail over anything that you may encounter. Breathe. Relax. Know that you are in the right place at the right time; and whatever comes will not be an ending to a means, but a beginning to a new phase in your life.

The Fundamentals of using your Intuition
Posted by Intuition Girl
Dutchman, Sven Kramer was on his way to a gold medal and an Olympic record in the 10,000 meter race when his coach directed him to change lanes because in his mind he thought he was in the wrong lane. The coach erred—Sven was actually in the right place at the right time and he knew it; but he chose not to follow his gut feelings – his intuition. His win was forfeited!
Have you ever been in the right place at the right time and something throws you off course? I am sure that has happened in your life at one time or another, and then afterward you kick yourself because you went against your higher instincts – your intuition.
Why is it valuable to use your Intuition?
6 helpful reasons
1. Intuition is Cost-Effective!
You do not need to pay others for advice; it is built into you. You do not have to make unnecessary appointments for a counselor or professor to tell you what you need to do. In most cases, your intuition is on-key…when you listen to it!
2. Intuition is Fool-proof
Ever heard that phrase, “you shall know the truth, and the truth will set you free”? That is how intuition works. It is the rawest, purest, innate wisdom that helps you survive each and every day. When we don’t follow our intuition, we usually regret it and too often after the fact, we see the wisdom that was previously ignored. Your Intuition is that little voice in the back of your mind that says, “That road might be treacherous…” or “You need to check on Johnny…” or “I better make that call.” Of course there are numerous times we tap into our intuition, and we do not even realize we are doing so. That is why it is fool-proof: it is always there!
3. Intuition is your Dream Catcher
Your intuitive power opens you up to identify new possibilities. Dreams are the centerpiece to our imagination, our hopes, our goals, and even our fears. With intuition as our guide, we need not rely on outside forces to fulfill our desires. Our gut feeling is not a gamble – it is the real deal. Because it is a mainstay in our lives, we do not have to make high-stake choices based on a stranger’s analysis or theory. Instead, we discover that our inner consciousness has all the mind tools at our disposal to make the right choices to realize those opportunities that are right for each one of us.
4. Your Intuition is 24/7
It is part of your essence so it is with you all the time. Of what service are you aware that is available to you 60 minutes an hour, 24 hours a day, seven days a week, and 52 weeks per year…for free? Today, we might get 24-hour service but it is going to cost for every day we have it. Imagine your intuition as your fast-food for thought on a moment’s notice. No waiting in line to be serviced, no cashier to pay, no traffic hassle, no others cutting in line – it is entirely yours to do with as you please whenever you want at absolutely no financial cost to you. Wow!
5. Intuition is a True Treasure
Your intuitive power is a priceless talent that you possess so honor and respect it. Do not take it for granted. Listen to it. It is your ultimate mentor –your Yoda of the mind, heart and spirit. When Luke said, “I can’t believe it,” wise Yoda responded, “That’s why you fail.” Your intuition is priceless and can help you to succeed on all levels of living…when you truly listen to it and start believing in yourself. “Let the force be with you…”
6. Intuition makes you self-sufficient
Once you realize that you can make sound and wise decisions by going within, you become self sufficient and truly more self-confident. All your success is completely within reach and in your hands. That is the secret to your innermost source – your intuition makes you stronger, happier and more self-reliant when you need it the most and when it counts the most. Ask Sven Kramer if he would have listened to his intuition – I guarantee if he had a chance to repeat his race and listen to his gut feelings, he would have.
Whom do you Trust? Yourself
It is imperative to plant the seeds of trust in your Soul, your inner gut, your Intuition. It does not matter what you call it; however, what does matter is that you trust it implicitly. How does one do that? That is exactly what I teach and coach people. If a person does not know him or herself implicitly, they will not be able to distinguish between the right and wrong information that is constantly coming into their mind. The mind is a powerful mechanism that can steer us in the right direction when utilized properly.
We already possess the greatest knowledge of the Universal flow deep within our core but we haven’t learned how to tap into that knowledge and utilize it for our highest and best good. When we are willing to re-discover our authentic Self and continually go to the Source for our guidance and support, we will reap the reward. The knowledge of who you are simply lies deep within you. Don’t you think it is time to unbury your greatest treasure?

2012: Prophecy or Potential?
Posted by Intuition Girl
There has been a lot of chatter on the Web, on TV programming and in open discussion about the year 2012. Propagating Mayan Prophecy further was the film debut of 2012, which held viewing audiences captivated with its spectacular and alarming scenes of a cataclysmic event.
Throughout the ages, man has reveled in the shadows of prophecy and ancient texts. We have looked to the stars for answers, we have dove into meditation to seek answers from within, we have been to our churches and synagogues; and beyond that, we have listened and watched what others have said and sermonized. What it boils down to is that we are a spiritually-hungry people who desire that part in us that we have somehow lost along the way in our journeys in life.
The doomsday phenomena is the town talk… it is all about how solar cycles are going to peak on or about December 21, 2012 – December 23, 2012 during the winter solstice. And this just so happens to coincide with ancient Mayan prophecy. There are many unanswered questions that remain in our hearts and minds in regards to the 2012 phenomena. The question, however, that we should all be asking ourselves is: “Must we live beneath an umbrella of fear and discontent?” There are many factions in this country and around the world, which will use the doomsday scenario to place fear in the hearts of the willing. I say walk away from those fears. What we will can and will ultimately become the end result in all things that we aspire to be and do.
Hysterical history…
Before the turn of the century, people throughout the United States and abroad were fearful of the Y2K bug. Do you remember that? What in the world would we do if all the computer systems failed? But they did not. Prior to the 2000 bug, there were several doomsday cults whose self-fulfilling prophecies terrified followers (and leaders) into unthinkable acts. The Movement for the Restoration of the Ten Commandments (among others) was such one of these groups that convinced its followers that the apocalypse was going to occur in the year 2000. With the entrance of the new millennium, the group began to unravel because the “apocalypse” did not transpire as they had prophesized to their followers. In early spring of 2000, movement leaders were losing their control. By late March, authorities discovered a mass murder* of over 700 group members. Self-fulfilling prophecies can only come true if we enable our unbalanced emotions to override our human intuitive will and individual power of the mind-thought.
Now we fast-forward to 2010. We live in an age and time where science is broaching genius. We are learning things so fast that our minds can barely keep up with emerging news, innovations, inventions, data and science, of course. At the same time, we attempt to lead normal everyday lives where we go to work, come home, spend time with our loved ones, go to sleep, and start all over again. Our minds and bodies are working in automatic over-drive. This leaves little time or room for us to truly process the information that is disseminated to us day in and day out. Because our mental status is preoccupied with so much clutter, the only space that we leave open is for the “flight or fight” response. Trigger words, thoughts, ideas, people and events can springboard us into a negative downward spiral. And that, my friends is how fearful “prophecies” and notions can get us into hot water rather quickly.
You’re so intuitive – then you tell us what’s going to happen in 2012…
The uniqueness of the 2012 phenomena is that the future is always changing…always transforming by thoughts, deeds and actions. The butterfly effect of human nature is that while the potential exists of a cataclysmic event, and that while a potential exists scientifically that these things will all come to pass, and that while a potential exists that the interpretation of the Mayan prophecy is exactly that…we must stop to think in what direction we are now going (personally and as a people) to fully grasp the power and potentiality of our human will. That is the beauty of a future paradox… we can always change that what has not yet happened.
Human willpower combined with the power of the mind-thought, is one of the Divine’s greatest gifts ever given to mankind. How and what we do with that power, will ultimately shape our destinies. There is still time to change our fate for the human race. But it depends solely on our ability to transcend negative energy and animosity to create a healthier, more conducive environment for the flow of positive Universal energy. When we, as a human race, have overcome our ego minds with the stillness that our authentic self offers us, then only can we use our intuitive will and talents to determine the best overall outcome. Sixties idol, Jimi Hendrix could not have said it better: “When the power of love overcomes the love of power the world will know peace.” And that, is the same concept that you must use in your life today and everyday to deal with your fears, your animosities, your transgressions, and the information that you receive when you least expect it.
The world will be watching as 2012 fast approaches. That means we, as the human race, have roughly two years to gear our minds toward more positive thinking. It is time to awaken to our true potential. The joy-filled possibilities are waiting to be born. We must let go of the fears riding our backs and weighing us down into the abyss of cyclic anxiety. Human intuitive will is a powerful force when used in proper alignment with the universal flow of energy. Let go of the fear. Breathe. Today is a new day, tomorrow has not yet begun…and the rest of our future will be played out exactly in accordance to what our intuitive will encourages us to do both individually and as a collective community.

Intuition and Marketing: Creating $$ with Strategic Visioning
Posted by Intuition Girl
If your goal is to manifest wealth and success in your business, then you must mentally prepare yourself to achieve what it is you want. In order to reach your true potential for prosperity, you need to use strategic visioning to develop a healthy and productive atmosphere. But what exactly is strategic visioning, and what does it have to do with your intuition? Allow me to elaborate:
If you are a business professional, or are in the process of establishing your entrepreneurial venture – it is time to learn about strategic visioning so you can create a rich environment for yourself. Adapted to the Universal flow of energy, your intuition is an excellent resource to create abundance and professional success.
When you absolutely desire prosperity, strategic visioning is an essential instrument to fulfilling your heart’s ambitions. Drawing on past and present experiences, likely tendencies, and strengths and opportunities to form an intricate plan in climbing the ladder to financial freedom, is what strategic visioning is all about. Not only do we apply analytical conclusions to developing our outcome, we must also rely on our intuition. Why? Our intuition is in direct alignment with the Universal flow of energy that dictates our destiny. When we listen to our inner wisdom to gain knowledge and inclinations for our appropriate plan of action in combination with strategic visioning, we are using our mental and emotional awareness to its fullest potential.
How does strategic visioning and intuition generate $$? Good question. In order to accumulate wealth and prosperity in life, you must plant the seed of creativity in all you do. When you tap into your intuition, you are tapping into a powerful source of information. Imagine walking on a tight rope with a balancing pole. Your rope is about 30 feet in the air. If you look back or down, you might get dizzy. However, your balancing pole is what keeps you level as long as you look straight ahead and focus on meeting your objective at the other side. Your intuition is much like this balancing pole. It is your guide to keeping you in-tune with your intent and your focus. And when you’re walking a literal or figurative tight rope in life, you can’t turn back or look down because it takes your eye of the mark. Your ”rope” is your support system or lifeline, and part of your strategic vision to accomplishing your goals. You can reflect on past experiences and use them as a challenge to overcoming obstacles; but you should never retreat or look down upon yourself, as you will certainly become unbalanced.
How far along are you on your tight rope of life? Are you using your balancing pole (intuition) and are you grounded on your rope (strategic vision)? These are key to creating the success you desire, and gives you the ability to corner the market for wealth and prosperity.

Are your Goals accompanied with a Consistent Labor of Love?
Posted by Intuition Girl
What actions have you determined are necessities in your life to keep you on track? If you’re pining for the straight and narrow path to success, then you must know that in order to achieve the affluence you so desire, you must love yourself first and be consistent in every one of your efforts. A few questions you must ask yourself are:
- What is it that I really want in life?
- How am I going to acquire these wants?
- How much passion am I going to put behind my goals?
- What steps do I need to take in order to achieve these goals?
- How much time am I willing to take to get the things I want?
After you’ve considered these questions, I want you to take out a pen and paper, your laptop keyboard, or whatever else you have at your disposal and begin to jot down ideas and thoughts resolving these questions.
Sometimes, we have to make small sacrifices to create a clear passage to the lives we want to lead. While we might like owning that high-maintenance SUV; the payments might be killing us financially. Or, we’ve put several years’ time into a work position only to stay in the same spot. Are you staying in a negative personal relationship because you’ve become accustomed to arguing? Have you seen the writing on the wall? That doesn’t mean you should allow your vehicle to get repossessed, that you should walk out of your relationship, or just outright quit your job because you’re not going anywhere. What it does mean is that you need to re-evaluate your state of affairs, and start using the tools that are available to you to make the best out of a lagging or negative situation. You are, after all, in control of your emotions and your actions. And if you are not—Why not? You cannot control the people around you. But you can control yourself…or better said, you can become the leader of your life—if that is your choice!
That being said, you must determine the necessary actions and efforts to keep your life on track. For example, if you are in a “terrible job”, you need to ask yourself if it is in fact the job that is terrible, or is it the feelings that you associate with the job that give it the appearance of being terrible. When you figure that out, that’s when you can decide what path you need to take in order to acquire a better position…or perhaps, become an entrepreneur in your own field to create real value in your life. The same holds true in relationships – both personal and professional. Relationships, just like working positions, take time, sacrifice, effort, labor, love, and communication skills. What are you doing in your life to heighten your potential and efficacy in creating and sustaining healthy bonds? And this is also spot on with professional relationships – how do you view the work you do? Would you “hire you” again? Would you want “you” working for yourself? Think about it. Are you creating your own problems at work?
Beyond work and personal relationships, finances (or lack thereof) often take center stage on the emotional baggage train. Do any of these hypothetical statements apply to you?
- “I can’t go to the gym because I can’t afford it.”
- “I can’t take a vacation because I don’t have the money.”
- “I’d love to take you to that restaurant, but it’s too expensive.”
- “How I wish I could buy a house, but times are tough.”
- “How can Jim (or fill in the blank) afford such a nice car?”
- “I’d like to have children, but I can barely afford to pay my own bills.”
- “I’m just not lucky like that other guy.”
More than likely, we’ve all encountered one or more of the above situations. And when we are honest with ourselves–it’s uncomfortable, too. Especially when someone asks you to accompany him (or her) and you begin concocting lame excuses as to why you can’t go. And envy is even worse. No matter how successful we become in life, someone, somewhere is going to have something bigger, better, and more expensive than you. That’s a fact. But, the good news is that you don’t have to “keep up with the Jones.” You just have to keep up with yourself – that’s it. Every action has an equal reaction. For instance, if you have made the active decision to pursue a higher position at work, what must you do to attain it? If you simply “want” the position, and do nothing to acquire it, then you will remain exactly where you are. Wanting something and doing something for that want are two entirely different means to an end: one is inaction (indecision) and the other is action (decision). How is your supervisor going to know that you want a particular position? She can’t always read your mind. Likewise, if you’ve been performing “just enough” or “not enough” at work, do you really deserve the position?
Do you have what it takes? Yes! Almost every individual has the mental, physical, emotional, and psychological capacity to achieve their hearts’ desires; unfortunately, they don’t always do it because of indecision, inaction, and complacency. We get comfortable in all of our relationships, much like we do in our own tennis shoes. We tend to overlook the holes, the wear and tear, the rips, the shredded laces…because they feel good on our feet. Eventually, our feet get soaked from the mud puddles that we sometimes have to walk through. Even track stars have to change shoes every now and then to maintain a proper balance and performance. Like it or not, we have to toss the old shoes and buy new ones that fit us and serve us better so that the paths on which we walk will benefit us. Which path do you choose to walk upon? What sacrifices are you willing to make to create forward motion? What choices are you making for you today to promise a wealthy and happy tomorrow?
If you’re still not sure how to stay focused and keep your life on track, but are willing to commit yourself to recharging your life and re-energizing your authentic self to become the person you want to be, then I invite you to participate in my upcoming Platinum Mastermind Group. In the group, I’ll teach you how to be self-sustaining and self-empowering. And I’ll show you how to use your intuition and sheer determination to transform your lifestyle into the extraordinary one that I know you can achieve.
Many Blessings,
Joan Marie the Gift, Intuition Girl
