Forgiveness and Healing go Hand in Hand

SPECIAL NOTICE FROM JOAN MARIE
DUE TO POPULAR DEMAND …
WE will be hosting another Forgiveness Program for 4-Weeks in July on Tuesday Nights
For those of you who couldn’t join us before, this is your opportunity to do so now.
“God, Our Universal Source is reaching out to all of us and asking us to willingly release the poisonous emotions that paralyze us.” – Joan Marie Whelan
Yes, the emotions that hold us in bondage and chains are often the most toxic and lethal to our overall wellness. Are you ready to make a useful change in your life? If you are, then for what are you waiting?
It is an inside job that we must all take to task and to heart. It is not as difficult as it may seem. At first, you may be thinking, “Why do I have to learn to forgive? I have done nothing wrong. It is everyone else who has hurt me in the past. Not me.” But in fact, it is you — who have been holding onto these sad and regretful emotions that have been barring you from advancing in your life. It is you, who must choose to live in emotional freedom or live in emotional bondage.
So many of us have been hurt or abused at one time or another, either by our own hand or because of someone else. Anyone who has become a victim and that includes survivors of childhood abuse, political or military imprisonment, crime, relationships or self- abuse due to various addictions must go within and clearly decide their fate…for it is ultimately our decision that will strengthen us and bring forth our healing or it will destroy us and cause our demise.
Are you choosing to remain a victim – of the small child who lost her father; the individual who was accosted years ago; the man who is still fighting the war within; the widow who lost her spouse… how much longer are you willing to hold onto your emotional wounds of the past?
It is an inside job and I want you to know that you have the mental and intuitive capacity to change your frame of mind, body and spirit – right down to your internal DNA! You have the ability to transform your thinking and your lifestyle for more positive, more productive, and more useful outcomes for you. You, brilliant you, are the master of your life and your destiny. Once you understand that you have the courage and power to forgive, you will receive a blessing: a sense of inner peace that is priceless.
That is why I am offering for the second time this 4-Week Program that will:
- alter your life
- bring about an awakening
- open the door to new opportunities
- give you practical tools to use for the rest of your life
- revolutionize your life from the inside out
- Give you downloadable audio of each class to re-listen to upon need
After all, it is an inside job – let me help you help yourself; and together, we can begin the transition from victim to victor!
Forgiveness is an internal process. It is not about forgetting a negative event or emotion
It is freeing—it frees one from the grip of another. If we cannot let go of our strong desire for revenge or obsession, we will never experience true healing
This program is reasonably priced and intended to give you a quick jump-start on your healing process
Classes are scheduled for every Tuesday Evening in July 6PM Pacific Time and 9 PM EST
I’m going to share my gifts and incredible life-altering program!
Don’t let another life-transforming opportunity pass you by! Isn’t your release from shame—blame or guilt worth it?

Straight Talk with Joan Marie: How do we forgive and achieve emotional freedom?
Posted by Intuition Girl
QUESTION #2
Dear Joan Marie:
There is so much talk about bullying in the media and the news. Many young people are feeling left out, lost and often lonely because they do not feel connected to their peers or their environment. Fear, embarrassment and hurtful feelings often surface because of it.
I have felt those emotions during my youth but I never put a name to them. In fact, because I felt so alone and not understood, I spent a great deal of my time avoiding interaction with others because I didn’t know how to fit in. Even my siblings looked at me strangely and I often resented their insensitivity to me.
That isolation has caused me great sadness over the years but now I have a better understanding of who I am. I now realize that I do have something special to offer others and the world but I have not released those feelings of sadness, resentment and lack.
My question is how do I begin to forgive and release those emotions so I can finally live a life of freedom?
I look forward to hearing from you. Mary Ellen R.
ANSWER #2
Dear Mary Ellen:
Your question is timely— this is why I decided to have my new 5-Week Program that is going on right now and it is completely on the topic of forgiveness.
Too often people misunderstand what forgiveness means and mostly they do not envision its benefits and value to self–the one who is doing the forgiving.
I consider the act of forgiveness as a purging of the old from your mind so that you can cleanse and rid yourself of all toxic and poisonous thoughts and feelings that are stopping your completeness.
Once you become aware that your distress and the re-run of your old story is coming from hurt feelings, thoughts and bottled up emotions from the past not from suffering or pain that you are experiencing today, you will begin to move towards your personal healing. Forgiveness breaks the cycle of anger, resentment and isolation and it helps you enjoy the peace and contentment that lingers long after the act of letting-go has begun.
The first step in the process is in making a choice. It is clear to me that you have done that by reaching out to me. I actually have a single CD on forgiveness that has a powerful meditation that will help you release and heal and I also have a 3-CD series that takes you through a process. Both tools I highly recommend.
Many Blessings to you on your journey,
Joan Marie, the Gift

Straight Talk with Joan Marie: Must we carry our past life issues with us?
Posted by Intuition Girl
QUESTION #1
If we pass on to the next dimension i.e., “heaven,” then why aren’t we able to “clear” away past life issues over there on the other side instead of taking them with us into this current life time?
Thanks!
Jo Ann
Huntington, New York
ANSWER #1
Dear Jo Ann:
This is a great question. When we die it does not mean our problems go away; in fact, it is quite the contrary. In the other realm, we actually continue with the same problems or situations that we left off with on the earthly plane. It would be helpful for each one of us to understand that our past experiences dissolve only when we have recognized them and learned how to accept and deal with them. We all must understand when we come back to earth or when we die the only thing that changes is the location of where our energy is placed. What this means is when we come back to earth we are here to heal our soul, cleanse our energy field and continue to learn and grow. The key for all of us is to purify our soul and this happens when we truly understand who we are. So many of us come back over and over again with the same issues or problems because we haven’t discovered how to identify with or heal from them. When the light is revealed and we finally get it we are better prepared to create differently.
One life lesson for you may even be courage to accept your true purpose—to fulfill your soul’s destiny of being a healer and teacher. I feel that in the past you did not have the support to do this and now you have come back to stand tall, walk forward and fulfill your destiny.
I hope all of this makes sense.
Many Blessings,
Joan Marie, the Gift

Honing in on Your Listening Skills through Meditation
Posted by Intuition Girl
Emotions running rampant and can’t quite get a grasp on which direction to take in life? Ready to magnify your inner voice? Try this on for size – mind-body medicine! Unlike conventional medicine, mind-body techniques like meditation can add powerful substance to healing our emotions and to enhancing our mental state of awareness.
Ever heard the lyrics, what condition my condition is in, from the Song, “Just Dropped In?” Whatever your psychological state is in, is the overall “condition” in which you act, feel, think, and live. But don’t just take my word for it; there is scientific evidence that has proven meditation’s effectiveness in treating a number of physical and mental health issues. Among the many physical conditions that meditation has helped treat include coronary artery disease, arthritis, and chronic pain. In addition, meditation has proven to be a natural immune system booster…but, if mind-body medicine can do all this, imagine what it can do for your emotional state?
Though rooted in spiritual Eastern practices — think of meditation as an intellectual exercise that will positively charge your inner voice. The first step to meditation is to relax your body and your mind.
Find a comfortable place where you can sit down and rest. The goal is for you to discard any mental thoughts or worries from your head. To do this, I want you to close your eyes, take a deep breath in, and slowly exhale. Now focus on a place where you are happiest in your mind. Search your visual memory bank for a beach, a sunset, an open field, a place in your childhood…wherever you feel the most safe and comfortable to free your inhibition. Are you there yet?
Use this suspended state of altered consciousness to rediscover your voice. Your higher self is desperately trying to communicate with you. When you place yourself in this meditative state, you are honing in on your listening skills, and are raising your mental awareness to a level where you can find resolution and the direction that you can now take to begin your journey to emotional healing.

Are you a Control Fanatic?

If you are, you might be hindering your advancement as well as the progress of others. It is okay to want things and to acquire success, but sometimes, we allow our personal goals and ulterior needs and motives to get in the way of overall growth. How, you ask? Just look around you, we are experiencing pain and suffering all around the world because people, individually and collectively are not making choices based on the overall good of the masses. We have compromised our values and principles. The simple resolution to this and other situations requires us to take a look at the following possibilities.
- Always put people before profits. It does not matter in what profession you practice. Whether you are a mechanic, a doctor, a politician, a foreman, a counselor or an attorney – you must always think of the people that work for you, work with you, and those for whom you work. When you put others first, you are paving the road to success with compassion and passion – and that is the core factor to achieving overall health, wealth and happiness.
- Plan ahead. Someone once told me that we must have the right preparations and ingredients to run any business. That means that if you are willing to go the extra distance, you can create a long-term map for success. Sometimes that means that we have to commit ourselves to longer hours and more motivation but always it means that we must maintain integrity. Proper preparation is everything.
- Do NOT use short cuts. Sometimes when we travel, we are tempted to use short cuts to get somewhere faster or cheaper. In business, shortcuts often create shortcomings. Speed does not usually create the best results; accuracy and careful attention to details by those who specialize must be recognized and acknowledged. Putting your efforts into those specific areas where you excel will enable you to create quality workmanship in all endeavors.
- Cooperation. When professionals work together, each brings his own vital insight and wisdom to the proverbial dinner table. Each has his own unique technique and vantage point that somehow creates a powerful mix of not only diversity but often the best solution. You might want to re-evaluate how your lack of cooperative efforts have fallen to the wayside and possibly caused complacency. When we cooperate in harmony, we are all giving and receiving quality “input” to produce a more creative array of wealth and productivity.
- Communication. This is the simplest, most transparent yet often forgotten component to business success. We often encounter situations where there are plenty of sheriffs but not nearly enough deputies. Everyone has something to say, and in the cross-fire of the chatter, nothing gets accomplished and nothing of importance gets heard. We must learn to speak with our cohorts and not at or down to them. When we understand that working together for a common goal is beneficial to all concerned, we soon discover the sweet feelings of success, a sense of peace of mind and the wonderful taste of victory.
- Complacency breeds neglect! All too often we easily become accustomed to doing things in a certain manner or completing tasks a particular way. Sometimes, we have to step off the beaten path and bask in the newness of innovation. Learn to listen to what others might offer you in advice—look at their comments and remarks as possible clues or leads to follow. It certainly helps if you can learn to listen to your gut feeling. Sometimes you have to re-evaluate your methodologies to jumpstart a more effective model for both your professional and your personal life!
- Invest in your future successes! Put time and money aside for improving knowledge and information. It is so wonderful to experience our successes but it is vital to our future success for each one of us to place money and time aside to for continual education. I encourage you to continually improve your success, one must improve their knowledge and understandings of information that will help us continue to grow and improve our techniques as we ultimately realize our full potential and future and continued successes.
It is important to remember that you can always seek help from a professional life coach, who can assist you in manifesting success in all areas of your business and personal life. Becoming a winner is just a phone call away – let me show you how to properly use your business savvy by combining your intuition and your zest for success to create the successful lifestyle you have always wanted.
Until we speak again, I am
